Something Positive for a Change

Well with my feeble mind taking a toll from previous tests and then brutally being thrown back into the gist of test taking, finally being able to go out and have some fun was indeed a stress reliever.  This past weekend I spent some time with my boyfriend Steven and our good friend Cody.  We visited a tattoo parlor called Element Tattoos so that Cody could get his first taste of his own tattoo.  It was quite the experience let me say.  Never had I ever stepped into a tattoo place before this one, and it was sure something.  Very colorful yet the vibrant scene was well balanced out by a couple of skull artifacts here and there, and some other random items collected throughout the years.  The people there were very great and understanding, and their artwork was indeed amazing.  I will give some props to Cody for not crying like a little girl.

Aside from the whole tattoo thing, work has been extremely fun as well, as weird as that may sound.  Work = fun when? I currently work at Six Flags, and despite the humid temps, and bolstering people the overall environment just gives me joy.  Even the staff that I work with are really nice and funny at times.  Even though I practically spiel the same lines all day towards eager guests waiting to get on the ride, I can’t help but smile because I’m having fun while doing it.  Everyday isn’t always like this, but so far this week it was.  And I’m glad, because having at least a little fun is much more better than having no fun.  Don’t you think so?
